The Samsung is presenting a new color laser printer for the office with the CLP-770ND, which runs the daily printing jobs with 32 DIN A4 pages per minute of printing speed. On the first page, the user has to wait 10 seconds, for a color document 11 seconds. The CLP-770ND also has an internal Ethernet interface and is therefore easily integrated into the office network. The accessory list also includes a WLAN module as well as a hard disk with 80 GB, whereby with the latter comfort functions as for example confidential printing is possible.

This printer is equipped with a memory of 256 MB, which can be expanded up to 768 MB. The maximum working load, which one can trust the printer, is 120,000 pages. The Starter toner delivered at the time of purchase is sufficient for nearly 3,500 pages. Alternatively, the printer can also be equipped with a toner for 7,000 pages. The Samsung CLP-770ND printer is available from July 2009 at a price of 1.080 euros. After 2,5 years and a total print volume of 8,000 sheets (50,000 are promised), the transferation is broken! Samsung's comment on this was: is a wear part, but I'm wondering how it comes to such a cloak if only 16% of the promised print volume was claimed so far.

I would not recommend this device and because of the reaction of Samsung also generally no Samsung device to buy more. Overall, this Samsung CLP-770ND works fine, is fast and the print quality is excellent. Also images are reproduced for a laser printer amazingly well. The power consumption in the standby is so low that the printer can be turned on without power surprises on the power supply.
